About the Journal
The Pan-African Journal of Health and Psychological Sciences (PAJHPS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing scholarship and practice in the fields of public health, psychology, mental health, and allied health sciences. Founded in 2025, the journal was established to meet the growing demand for culturally grounded, Africa-led research that responds to both local and global health and psychological challenges.
Published by the African Alliance for Research, Advocacy and Innovation (AARAI), PAJHPS provides a dynamic platform for the dissemination of innovative research, theoretical perspectives, clinical insights, and community-based approaches that shape policy and improve human wellbeing.
With a Pan-African orientation and a global outlook, PAJHPS welcomes submissions from researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and academics across the African continent and the world. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
